When a motorist contravenes the terms and conditions detailed on signage at a private car park, this gives the operator (ParkMaven) reasonable cause to obtain the keepers’ details from the DVLA with the purpose of sending a Notice to Keeper via mail.
These details are provided by the DVLA under Regulation 27 of the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002, using the KADOE service. Setup of which relies on membership of an Accredited Trade Association (ATA), as well as a stringent process, ensuring data compliance through a 6 month probationary period followed by ongoing compliance checks.
