Can I discuss my appeal with you?

Modified on Tue, 25 Jun at 12:41 PM

All appeals must be submitted in writing. Details on how to appeal a PCN can be found on your original Notice to Keeper, or here.

Unfortunately, we're unable to adjudicate appeals over the phone.

Please ensure that you follow the appeals procedure as outlined on the Notice to Keeper - if you submit an appeal via email, or post, we cannot guarantee receipt within the appeals timeframe. We are also unable to place your PCN on hold until we have received the appeal, which can mean receiving reminders while waiting for an appeal response, or worst case the PCN escalating to debt recovery in the time between you sending your appeal, and us receiving it.

We have a one stage appeals process only, once you have received your appeal outcome if you wish to appeal our decision you must appeal to POPLA.

Please note, we will not review an appeal for the same PCN twice. Any further communications will not be considered an appeal and your PCN will not be placed on hold.

If you have any questions regarding how the appeals process works, you can find full details here.
