What happens if I lose my appeal with POPLA?

POPLA only reviews the appeal once, so if you’re unhappy with their decision you cannot appeal a second time. 

Your only option at this point is to pay the parking charge notice, or risk having your case sent to a debt collection agency, which may result in court if the charge is not paid within 28 days.

In addition, appealing via POPLA means you lose the option to pay the reduced amount, this means should your appeal be rejected you’ll be required to pay the full unpaid cost.
