All our car parks have a consideration period during which we will not issue a ticket. This is to allow motorists time to understand the terms and conditions of the car park, and decide whether they want to park.
By parking, waiting or otherwise remaining within the car park, past the industry standard consideration period of 10 minutes, the driver is agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions of the Parking Contract.
Therefore, regardless of whether a parking event occurred, if a vehicle remains within the carpark for longer than 10 minutes, and is not validated for the full duration of its’ stay, it has failed to comply with the terms of parking, and as such means the driver accepts liability to pay the fee for unauthorised parking.
